TO DEFINING THE CONCEPT OF "SOCIAL GROUP"

Abstract: In the scientific literature and everyday speech, too often, different definitions of the term "social group" are given. Most often, defining it is wrong in social work. This article aims to address the foreign and Bulgarian classics in sociology that define this notion - Nikolay Tilkidjiev, Florian Zanjetsky, Maksa Adler, Antonio Gramsi, Georg Zimel, Hrubber Bloomer, George Homer, Karl Mannheim, Georges Gurvich and Max Scheler. The analysis of their concepts for the group should support its understanding as a sociological phenomenon.
